Saints Peter and Paul

St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna, Austria

Both apostles hold books representing their writings in the New Testament. Peter also holds his attribute, a pair of keys, and the sword that is Paul's attribute is at his side. Both are being crowned as martyrs. The classical architecture of the scene below would suggest that it represents Rome, where the two saints were martyred.
